The voice behind the brand

SHILAN LONDON was born from my own journey. A journey of leaving the familiar behind in Vancouver to build a new life in London, where I pursued law school with determination and a dream much bigger than myself. Between lectures and the solitude of a new city, I carried a vision of creating something that could speak to both my strength and my softness.

That vision became SHILAN LONDON.

For me, fashion has always been more than clothing, it is storytelling. Each dress in my debut collection carries a piece of my Kurdish heritage through its name: Sharmin, Nadia, and Heyla - women’s names that embody elegance, resilience, and grace. They are more than designs; they are symbols of identity, culture, and the quiet power of womanhood.
